A Dark Force Looms... for now.

The rift above the shrine has grown unstable... causing some disturbances in our reality temporalily, such as the blood moon and the darkness that comes with it.

Swampy Shrine

Swampy shrine has recieved some spooky updates! fiends now spawn and the shadow midas drum gun is available to claim at the center temple!

Just make sure to be prepared to face the Gold Brute if you dare to touch the weapon...

Spooky Store !

Decay depot has been completely remade into a brand new hey boo store! purchase (or steal) the finest halloween decorations to celebrate the holiday!

Spooky music has been added to the disco in the store! aswell as spawn island for the duration of the event!

FIENDS!

Fiend spawners have been added across the island in 5h4dow's influence, watch out for these monsters and maybe gain some shields by defeating them.

For this event, Shields have been increased to 160, and overshield decreased to 20, to give you an incentive to defeat the fiends and gain more shield!

PATCH NOTES

Alright, lets get into specifics

- Above mentioned shield changes are only during the event and will be reverted in the next update

- Fiend spawners will be removed in the next update, besides the ones in 5h4dow's sanctum (to add more of a challenge in the POI)

- Added Witch Brooms as a commonly found consumable in Item Crates for the event

- Added shockwave grenades as a consumable in item crates permanently

- Removed Slap Juice (slap splashes prove to be a better alternative and thus they just clutter the loot pool

- Removed port a bunker (probably not even noticable since Shield bubbles are a much more common form of protection)

- Shadow Midas' drum gun added to the shrine, picking it up activates the gold brute which acts as a miniboss

- Halloween decorations have been added across the map

- Fright Funk Music pack added as the music that plays on spawn island as well as in the store

BUG FIXES:

- Storm Zone wait times have been fixed and increased.

- 5H4D0W's vault has been fixed and can be opened.

- Added 2 new ways to get out of Chaos Agent's barn basement.

- Fixed Loot Crates at Goldenstein Tower

-Guards at Goldenstein Tower will no longer eliminate each other.

And thats it! | Please note that the golden island team will be taking a 1-2 week long break until the next update, mainly due to the inconvenient timing of Fortnite OG's release, We hope you understand.
